Caprice v2.6 for Palm OS is out.

CPCGamesCD is a live CD by MiguelSky with emulators and the NVG Amstrad game collection. It has been updated :

• Includes Snap-Pack by MiguelSky (3613 images)
• Added new version 6.7 of JavaCPC emulator

Orion Prime is again available in its original french package, but also in english and spanish package. If you have to offer a gift to a geek, what about Orion Prime and a sdcard HxC floppy emulator (few left for pre-ordering, maybe at this time no more, be quick...) ?

You will be able to order Orion Prime till the 30th April (payment by check or paypal). All orders will be sent by the 25th May, then the 30th june 2010, all versions will be available as a download.

Sadly there will be no german version of the package, and a german download isnt even sure, I dont know the reasons though.

DevilMarkus has written a new utility in java : Cdt2Wav, so you can use it on Windows, Linux and Mac.

For Linux and Mac users, launch the cdt2wav.jar with the following parameters : cdt2wav.jar -Xms512m -Xmx512m -XX:MaxPermSize=512m (or set all to 256 if you want only 256 Mb max. ram usage).

CPC Game Reviews has 7 new reviews.

GameBase CPC v13 is available in full version only (no update from v12).

DSP v0.9 beta 4 is available, it emulates several computers, including the Amstrad CPC.

The ZX Spectrum Computer Sound Chip Emulator v2.9 beta 9 by Sergey Bulba is available, it permits to listen to .YM, .AY and .AYM music files.

You can now pre order your SDCard HxC Floppy Emulator on Ebay. Price is 60 pounds sterlings plus shipping (total of 78,19 €). The cards are made by Lotharek (Poland) with the permission of the HxC author.

Beware, you will also need the proper cable sold on Ebay :

• cable for plain CPC (not Schneider, neither CPC+),
• cable for CPC+,
• cable for Schneider CPC (not CPC+).

And of course, you will also need a 5 volts alimentation for the HxC.

This version supports of course reading of DSK, but also writing.
