The War of the Solice is a 3D remake of the Lords of Midnight game (Mike Singleton) made by The Frozen Empire (Andrew Smart and Wayne Britcliffe), for windows and MacOS.

I wrote about it years ago, last version was releasd in 2021, see the interesting trailer on Youtube.

Last game by Ivan AVILA is Goody, el regreso, it has been written with the 8bp library in basic. Goody is a platform game.

Benjamin Yoris was working on a Wonder Boy remake since 2020, but this project is now on hold.

You can download it on CPCWiki to see for yourself. It isn't possible to finish the level as the distance between two clouds are too big.

The last version of the Amstrad CPC emulator CPCEC by César Nicolas Gonzalez, was released the 15th June 2022.

I saw this new windows emulator on theSystem.CFG months ago but I forgot to write about it... Dmanu78 did document all the genesis of his emulator, a very interesting reading in french that I invite you to read.

There is a french interview of Eric Safar on Youtube who is the author of two adventure games : Athanor 1 and 2.

Tommorow friday the 22th 2022 at 10pm (frog hour, so 11pm for the beef eaters), Roudoudou will stream about Amstrad CPC programming : ASIC (on CPC+), hard sprites and integrating music.

Martine v0.35.0 is an utility written by the Impact group :

• converting JPG and PNG images to Overscan screen or window for Amstrad CPC (and Plus series)
• new tile map mode, which allow to analyze an image of a level game, and produce .imp and .til readable by tile tool from Impact

This version was released the 20th April 2022. It is available for Windows, MacOS, ARM64 and linux.
