Fuzix (unix clone) for Amstrad Notepad and PCW still developped by Alan Cox

First announce in November 2014, Alan Cox continue programming on Fuzix (clone d'unix) for Amstrad PCW and Notepad. He is adding support for Amstrad NC200 at the moment.

It would be fun to use an ESPxx to add wifi to an Amstrad Notepad or PCW.



Zombie Terror Reloaded by Bitzarro Games in french (adventure game)

Zombie Terror Reloaded is a graphical text adventure game by Bitzarro Games for Amstrad CPC now available in french (in spanish in April 2016 and in english at the start of the month). It's an enhanced version of Zombie Terror first on C64 by Kabuto Factory.

You wake up on an island, feeling that you really have to flee from there. Alas, your yatch engine doesnt start. So it's time to explore the island, and trust me : there is a lot of Zombies there ! And what they want isnt love : it isnt time for St Valentin but for Halloween...

Code is by Jesus Mayoral (mode2), graphics and soundtrack by Manuel Gomez (Baron Ashler) and english translation by Dimitris Fragkos (Voxfreax).







ACE v1.13, an Amstrad CPC emulator for MorphOS by Philippe Rimauro (Offset)

ACE v1.13 by Philippe Rimauro is an Amstrad CPC emulator for MorphOS.

This version brings several enhancements for cross-development (thanks to Krusty). It corrects also several small bugs and brings some enhancements in emulation code (thanks to Kevin Thacker). Then, it brings structural modifications to ameliorate portability and 64bit compatibility.



Hire Hare by CNGsoft available, 2nd place the the CPC RetroDev 2016 PRO section

Hire Hare by CNGsoft is an isometric 3D game like Crafton and Xunk. It won the 2nd place at the the PRO section of the CPC RetroDev 2016.

It is available for download but there are still some bugs du to the time limit of the CPC RetroDev 2016. Check for a new version later.




CapriceRPI2 v1.31 by KaosOverride, an Amstrad CPC emulator for Raspberry PI

The last version of the Amstrad CPC emulator CapriceRPI (v 1.3) by KaosOverride for Raspberry PI is available with a fix for using joysticks. He is working on version 1.4.

This emulator based on the sources of Caprice32 by Ulrich Doewich, can also be compiled on something else than a PI with the following command : make -f makefile.notpi.

Prior to compilation, you must install the following dependances (including SDL v1.2 from memory) :

  • libsdl-ttf2.0-dev
  • libfreetype6-dev
  • libsdl-image1.2-dev
