The last version of the Amstrad CPC emulator CapriceRPI (v 1.3) by KaosOverride for Raspberry PI is available with a fix for using joysticks. He is working on version 1.4.

This emulator based on the sources of Caprice32 by Ulrich Doewich, can also be compiled on something else than a PI with the following command : make -f makefile.notpi.

Prior to compilation, you must install the following dependances (including SDL v1.2 from memory) :

• libsdl-ttf2.0-dev
• libfreetype6-dev
• libsdl-image1.2-dev

After a remake of Future Knight by John Dimi, he is finishing programming Tomb Explorer, a remake inspired of Oh Mummy (Gem Software and Amsoft in 1984). There are 125 levels in adventure mode and an infinity in arcade mode.

Two unknown people going with the name of Fanoplusplus64k and TotOOnTheMoon have written a remake of Rick Dangerous for the game console Colecovision : Risky Rick in dangerous traps, already showed at the RGC 2015 and almost ready at 95% for the RGC 2016 at Meaux.

The next one I see programming on something else than an Amstrad CPC, will copy with his and and pen 1000 times the following words : I must only programm on my lovely Amstrad CPC.

Space Hawks for Amstrad CPC by Durell is a clone of Galaxia out in 1984 under the label Amsoft.

The last game by Reidrac (Juan Martinez) is out : Magica (v1.01 with one less bug), with a loading screen by Vanja Utne, is out. I warn you, it's bad for WAF.

Use Fire to stun the badass, touch them before the stun stops so they transform into a potion. Kill them all to collect all potions to finish the level before time is out.I played a bit, went to level 5 only at the moment.

Tower of Despair par Games Workshop was out initially on ZX Spectrum and C64. This text adventure game is available since September 2016 due to MiguelSky (ESP Soft) with its original manual which must not be overlooked.

The windows utility CDTMaster by Oscar Martin exists as v3 since 2015 (works also under linux with mono). It is a Taper like utility, it includes other options like importing files from a DSK, converting files into TZX/CDT blocks (like 2cdt) and convert CDT to WAV (like playtzx).

Jose Javier Garcia Aranda has written 8BP (8bits de poder : 8bits of power), a RSX library for writing Amstrad CPC games in basic (26 Kb max). You can download 8bp on github (sources, demos and games examples, spanish and english documentation). It already exists three games including the last one Niburu :

• mutante montoya (platforms /maze)
• anunnaki (space ship arcade, vertical scroll)
• nibiru (space ship arcade, horizontal scroll)
