The last version of the Amstrad CPC emulator CPCEC by César Nicolas Gonzalez, was released yesterday on the 20th April 2025.

In less than 67 minutes, you will be able to see an interview with Jesús Martínez del Vas, author of a book fist released the 8th November 2019 about the Amstrad history in Spain : Queremos Su Dinero (we want your money). You will learn more about Indescomp, Amstrad Spain and José Luis Domínguez (founder of Indescomp in 1982).

Rainer has released CPCemu v3.0.1 (19th April 2025). It's available for Windows and MacOS (a bit later for Android, iOS and Linux).

This new version is available on CPCEMU's web site.

This version corrects the emulator not starting on most Windows 11 machines. Besides, the setup of the Dobbertin HD20 was flawed. The file for the virtual harddisk was created in the executable directory (which, depending on its location, failed due to lack of write permissions). The new version uses (as originally intended) the folder where cpcemu.cfg is located ("%APPDATA%\CPCemu" in Windows and "Library/Application Support/CPCemu" in MacOS). The virtual HD20 file will be automatically created the first time the HD20 is used (for which the X-DDOS ROM needs to be loaded, e. g. as ROM 5).

Interrupt-CPC is a new Youtube channel about Amstrad CPC demos. His creator made some demos in the past : Interrupt demo I and II. He will make video to explain their code.

SkillTeam by David Programa is a puzzle game for Amstrad CPC, Sokoban like.

It was originally developed by LukaszM for the mobile application Fancade. David wrote first a ZX Spectrum version of SkillTeam one month ago.

AMSTAIR or AMSTrad Antic Internal Ripper v1.1 by Raft McMillan from the TRSi group is a hardware tool made with components from the Amstrad CPC era that allows the display of Amstrad CPC signals. It allow to hack a game in real time, trace code/ports, diagnostic faulty Amstrad CPC (the gerber plan is available to make it), more precisely it allows :

• Display CPC control lines via LEDs
• Slow down your Amstrad at chosen speed

The Mojons Twins are working on a new Amstrad CPC game The Hobbit (Vah-ka's Cut), it's a Zelda like game.
