To make so beautiful Amstrad CPC loading screens like Eric Cubizolle (Titan), it's easy, you just need to use the same painting program : Multipaint by Tero Heikkinen AKA Dr. Terrorz, and maybe a bit of talent and mostly a lot of work.

Titan is describing Multipaint as a mmix of OCP Art Studio and Deluxe Paint for windows which offers the possibility of using the resolutions and palettes of a whole bunch of old computers including the Amstrad CPC (mode 0 and 1, overscan possible in mode 0).

Pixsaur by Gurneyh is an online tool to convert pictures to the Amstrad CPC format. It was announced in May 2025 on CPCWiki and is updated since its beginging.

Disk Image Manager v2.9.0 by Damien Guard is an application for examining and manipulating disk images in the Standard and Extended DSK format used by many ZX Spectrum, Amstrad PCW and CPC emulators.

PintaPanta Plus is a windows utility by G. Gálvez which permits to convert pictures in a .SWC file format that you can read on Amstrad PCW with the PantaVisor utility. And the result is quite nice !

The last version of 8BP (v043, a programmation framework) is presented by his author on his web site. This version is available since yesterday.

The documentation of 8BP is now available in five languages.

The last version of multi platform assembler for Amstrad CPC RASM (v2.3.8) was released two weeks ago on Github.

This multi platform assembler for Amstrad CPC (for linux, windows, and also for MorphOS on Amiga) let you program for Amstrad CPC. It's recommended to use it with the new emulator also by Roudoudou : ACE-DL released today, to get symbols and breakpoints importation and much more.

It contains some important bug fixes, but also a FAP export, and a digidrum player! More doc and tutorials about digidrums and samples are going to be added to the website in the following days.

The ZX Spectrum Computer Sound Chip Emulator v3.0 (December 2024) by Sergey Bulba is available, it's an utility for windows and linux to listen to many music format files, including .YM, .AY and .AYM music files.

CPC Analyzer (for windows, can be compiled on MacOS and Linux) by Crabfists is an utility to reverse engineering Amstrad CPC programs : it's a combination of an emulator, debugger & interactive disassembler. Programs are loaded and run in the emulator and their state can be inspected using the tools provided. It's a port of Spectrum Analyzer by Mark Craig. The current features of CPC Analyzer are :

Fast AY Player (FAP) par Vanity is a constant-excecution-time and ultra-fast (10 raster-lines at most) AY3-891x music player for the Amstrad CPC. It was written by Hicks (Vanity) and Gozeur (Contrast) for the programmation and Zik (debug and help).

Martine v0.41.4 is a command line interface utility written by Impact for Linux, MacOS X and windows with the following features :

FutureTex by Gunhed is a text editor running on Amstrad CPC with the FutureOS operating system by the same author. It can use mode 1 or better mode 2 for its 80 columns, for more features see CPCWiki. It is available as a floppy disk image and also as two ROMs since two days.
